Communications Intern
Are you a Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or Advertising major? If so, CPATH has an open Intern position available for Juniors and Seniors in the associated fields. We offer students the opportunity to work with a successful non-profit while gaining valuable hands-on experience and college credits. CPATH works with several students in both intern and project based capacities.

Primary Responsibilities:
- Research common issues / question in the CP community
- Write weekly blog posts about issues in the CP community based on research
- Write press releases for major events (Camp CPals & Light the Path)
- Support monthly newsletter with content and editing
- Family spotlights, grant recipients, current & recent happenings
- Assist with social media posts including Facebook and Twitter
- Photograph / video activities for publication on website / social media
- Knowledge of WordPress, Photoshop, and/or Illustrator are preferred
Meetings and Time Commitment:
- Attend a variety of CPATH events to better understand to help communicate our mission and build relationships and awareness with in the community
- Attend at least one board meeting to meet our board of directors team and better understand a non-profit organization
- Attend scheduled meetings with internship supervisor to review work and progress
Employee Expectations:

- Complete a background check (because we work with children)
- Compliance with polices and procedures
- Be alert to community concerns that can be addressed by CPATH’s mission, objectives, and programs in Central Texas
- Work together in a professional manner
