Our Equipment Closet continues to provide permanent donations for families to keep, with no lending or borrowing required. With this new system, you can browse, sort, track, and place a hold on inventory from our Equipment Closet more efficiently and it will allow us to serve more families. ALL equipment and supplies continue to be FREE to all in need.
About the Program
The HOW: CPATH serves as an intermediary between families and organizations by accepting donations of equipment or supplies that children have outgrown or no longer need. We then connect this equipment with families who will greatly benefit from it. We give the equipment to families, it is not on a loan basis. When the individual no longer needs the equipment, CPATH will gladly accept it back.
The WHY: This program allows families and individuals to exchange costly yet essential equipment. Many types of equipment, including mobility aids, are often denied by insurance or face lengthy approval delays. Children outgrow their equipment quickly, yet it is often in excellent condition. CPATH finds new homes for these items, giving people access to equipment that provides the tools needed to improve mobility, independence, and overall well-being. There are currently no programs in Central Texas dedicated to pediatric equipment.
